iDEA is an international programme that helps people to develop digital, enterprise and employability skills through a series of online challenges. As a Junior Frontend Developer for the initiative, you will assist with the development and maintenance of the iDEA platform and its resources. You will help support the lead developer, ensuring users have a smooth experience and any queries are dealt with quickly and efficiently. From badge testing and bug tracking, to troubleshooting issues and frontend development work, you’ll be involved in a broad range of activities. With every challenge you will expand your technical knowledge, aiming for high standards in all that you do. iDEA is looking for a Junior Frontend Developer that must have an interest in both education and the digital world and a passion for making the best experiences possible. The requirement for strong technical skills are not imperative for this role, however the ability to solve problems, multi-task and work efficiently and be passionate about learning and improving are. Evidence will be sought from code samples or GitHub profiles or links to projects/websites created by the applicant.
